Pelvic cramps: Hello, Aside from your period, you may have pelvic cramps when ovulating. Usually ovulation occurs anytime between day 12-16 of your menstrual cycle (depending on your specific cycle). If the cramping is persistent, then you may need to see your doctor. Based on exam, they will decide if a pelvic ultrasound would be useful.
