Yes, If you can...: Find a surgeon who'll do it. Most surgeons i know do not like to remove tonsils on adult males unless there is a clear indication because the risks of bleeding are higher. I would start you on Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) oral rinse for at least a couple of months before entertaining the possibility.
