Age, itchy: For your age with your complaint it is most likely secondary to dry skin and hormone influence eg. Low estrogen. If treat with topical cream not respond well rule out allergic reaction and other serious problem if persisted. May observe couple of cycles if spontaneous gone then you will be fine otherwise see your doctor locally.
