Carbamide Peroxide: Debrox is an otc that can dissolve ear wax. It won't help otitis media as it only goes to the outer ear. In fact, if it gets in the middle ear it will cause significant pain. On a side note, hydrogen peroxide works as well as debrox but is much cheaper.
