Possible but unlikel: The bacteria that inhabit an i feted bartholin's cyst are unlikely to cause an infection in a sexual partner unless there is a break in the skin and is far less likely than traditional sexually transmitted diseases such as hiv, herpes, clamydia, syphilis, etc.
