Usually tendinitis: 'burning' avbout the elbow w/out trauma is usually tendinitis.Occassionally the 'funny' bone(ulnar nerve)on the inside of the elbow can cause this as well esp if u get numbness or tingling in your pinkie and/or ring fingers.Try a NSAID for a week or two if no improvement see your orthopedic surgeon.Best of luck!
