Once a day: Allegra (fexofenadine) is a once a day anti histamine and should be used once a day. If one is going to use any medicine off label then a physicians opinion should be sought.

Which dose & form?: Recommended dose of ALLEGRA tablets is 60 mg twice daily or 180 mg once daily with water. Allegra containes fexofenadine. Allegra-D contains fexofenadine & pseudoephedrine. The 12-hour version Allegra D contains 120mg of pseudoephedrin and the 24-hour Allegra DM contains 240mg of pseudoephedrine.
