Can kids adjust to flying back and forth alone from one parent to another? really?

UM: "unaccompanied minor" in air travel is much more common with increases in divorced moms & dads. This reality has become a discomfort for many as many kids do not feel safe and secure. Preparation is important and spell out all the procedures so they know what to expect. Ex's don't always play fair and will bad mouth one another-adding to more stress on the kid.
