Urethritis: Usually in a man this is about a sexually transmitted disease such as gonorrhea or chlamydia. On less common occasions this can represent a bladder or prostate infection, but the pain is usually more full urethra rather than just at the tip. Some men who have herpes at the tip of their penis also report, during herpes outbreaks, a pain there a the tip. I think you need to be tested at the doctor.
