Various ways: The most common symptoms of food allergy including those to shrimp are hives/swelling [lip, tongue], and gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting/abdominal pain/diarrhea). If more than one system is involved (gi, lungs, skin, etc) it is called anaphylaxis. Shrimp allergy can be long term and serious. It typically presents in adults compared to children.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
