A member asked:

Does every pregnant woman have jelly -like discharge wen about to go to labour?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not every; many do: A "jelly-like discharge" will often be noted by many women as the mucus plug or material from the cervical canal begins to breakdown and the cervical changes of early labor (cervical softening, dilatation and effacement?.) start. Some of these changes may also occur days before the onset of labor.
