What would cause burning pain located in the hip? i haven't had any recent injury. i do have groin pain also.

Many causes: Hip pain may be from the joint itself, due to arthritis or a tear in the labrum; sacroiliac joint can cause hip and groin pain , as can muscle sources such as gluteals , adductors, and piriformis. Evaluate for hernias and femoral nerve compression.
