Eczema control: 1). Realize that there is no cure- you can control symptoms but its a life long condition that he/ she has to live with. 2). Change soaps- hypoallergenic soaps help ( cetaphil body wash and lotion helps) 3). Certain food allergens can trigger symptoms. Allergy specialist can help. 4). Topical steroid ointments help 5). Apply petroleum jelly on affected areas before shower. After bath follow (4).
