A member asked:

Do you still need to see a gynecologist if you have had a partial hysterectomy with one remaining ovary?

Yes: A pelvic (bimanual) exam can elicit problems such as cysts or cancer with the remaining ovary as a first line of defense for the overall betterment of your gyn health. Moreover, a breast exam can also be done as you are approaching the age of 40 for required yearly mammography.
