Ibuprophen/heat: I find the combination of ibuprophen and heat can offer some releaf to these kids.The ibuprophen has longer action than the acetomenophen and an anti-inflamatory benefit. A heating pad at low heat or warm compress sometimes distracts the brains pain sensors as it processes the sensation of warmth.
