A member asked:

Is it okay to do light weight lifting if you have widespread nerve pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: It is good to stay active. Once the body loses it's muscle mass or ability to do certain things then it is somewhat difficult to regain function. It would be good to stay active. If you want to lift weight, do as much as you can tolerate. Don't over-do it. Sometimes stretching out before and after can help.
