Adjuncts only: "pop" remedies such as lemon juice, tea tree oil (an estrogen that can give a teenaged boy breasts), apple cider vinegar or sleeping with your face smeared with honey won't help nearly as much as topical benzyol peroxide or the prescription-strength rx's a physician can use if it fails. If a teen doesn't get effective rx because of somebody's superstition, he/she is being done a grave disservice.
