Fingersticks: In pregnancy, we check bloodsugar fasting in the morning, 1 or 2 hours after meals (postprandial), & at bedtime. We want fasting cs < 100 or 105, 1 hr pp < 140, & bedtime < 140 also. You'll discuss your diet & exercise regime with your doc and/or counselor, they'll start you on Insulin if needed & extra fetal monitoring during your prenatal care. Good luck.
