Why would you call: Yourself lazy? Any number of things can cause us to feel sluggish, starting with thyroid problems and sleep disorders. These things can also make us feel depressed! make an appointment with your family doc and get checked out! she can then refer you to a psychiatrist if need be.

Depression ?: You could be "sluggish and lazy" and not be depressed. However, if you are depressed, you could feel sluggish and lazy. To be suffering from depression you would also feel sad or empty most of the day, and/or not enjoy things you used to like; experience changes in sleeping and eating patterns; have feelings of worthlessness or guilt; and have difficulty concentrating; for two weeks or more.
