When a mosquito bites, for instance, the bug "vomits" into the skin--releasing a chemical which prevents the clotting of blood. This enables the mosquito to leisurely "sip" your blood until she is full. The body reacts to the "vomit" by often itching or turning red--even transforming into firm bump or granuloma. May last for months.
