A member asked:

Why do vagina lips go from pink to dark black?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal variation: There is a very large variation in appearance of the vaginal lips, and pigmentation will first of all be effected by your general complexion. The vagina is never pigmented and as you move out from the vagina to the vulva pigmentation will increase. Chronic irritation can cause increased pigmentation and there is also a condition called vitiligo where there can be random areas of no pigmentation.
