Swollen eye: Swelling in or around eye can be due to the following [most common to least]: allergy [most likely in your case]; age issue (blepharoptosis, dermatochalasis), genetic variations; blocked meibomian gland (sty, chalazion); too much salt in diet; heart or kidney problem; mass or tumor). See an eyemd if swelling does not improve with cold artificial tears or ice packs.
