Multifactorial.....: There are many reasons why a person with kidney failure might cough. Volume overload can result in fluid in the lungs which can produce a cough. Certain medicines that a renal failure patient might take, like ace inhibitors, have cough as a side effect. So, see your doctor so the cough can be diagnosed and treated.
