A member asked:

Could you tell me what are my chances of getting tetanus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tetanus: Tetanus is a rare occurrence nowadays because of vaccination. If you were immunized as a child before you entered kindergarten and have received a tetanus booster every ten years, you should be safe. If you work in healthcare, are pregnant or will be exposed to a young infant in your family, it is recommended that you receive dtap instead of the regualr td vaccine.
