Don't know: I had trouble tracking all this info. But one thing did stick out - if your started oral contraceptives on the 28th and then went on to have sex on the 4th (; it was not your period) then you were likely not protected. Some oral contraceptives need to be taken for a month before they are fully effective. Other contraceptives can be started on day #1 of period. Sounds like you didn't use backup.
