I get hives when my baby's diaper touches my skin. what could this be an allergy to, exactly?

Contact dermatitis: Probably allergic to the plastic or rubber in the diaper or to the material in the absorptive component. This is not uncommon.

Interesting: Does this happens with all brands of disposable diapers? Does this happen only when your skin touches the "glue" of the diaper? Does the diaper have latex on it? Once we get answers to these questions, we can give you a better answer.
