Several poss...: Two things come to mind. This pain could be muscular, like "costochondritis, " and might respond to heat and anti-inflammatories. Also, i wonder about early shingles, especially if the pain is reproduced by light touch in that area. If there is (or soon is) a rash there, and if the location of the pain is only on one side of your body, this could be it. Try the heat ; rest over weekend be seen mon.
