Possible allergy: You could be allergic to your shoes (or some component of them), or your socks, or something that got trapped inside your shoes or socks. It could be a type of eczema called dyshidrosis. It's unlikely to be athlete's foot, which doesn't typically itch. (it burns.) without seeing the rash, that's about as far as i can take it.

Hard to say: It's hard to say, it could be something as simple as acute athletes foot. Try Lamisil (terbinafine) Cream as it is fungalcidal. Without resolution see your local area dermatologist or podiatrist.

Itchy: The first choice is tinea or athlete's foot - which does itch . Peeling isn't always seen in athlete's foot early on but is seen as it lingers. Dyshydrosis and the other things mentioned are also possibilities. OTC topicals are advisable and if there is no resolution see your podiatrist or dermatologist . Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream will help the itch cycle also .
