Sleep Medications: I understand your concern. About sleep. Chronic pain and obesity can affect the sleep. It is likely that you have developed tolerance to sleep medications. Without the sleeping pill, you might find it difficult to sleep. That could be a sign of a physical or emotional dependence or both. Please see your physician for diagnosis and treatment of your condition including relaxation, visual imagery.

Perhaps Sonata (zaleplon): Good sleep hygiene is, in my opinion, essential. These links may be helpful: http://www.Creativebalance.Com/sleep.Html and http://www.Stanford.Edu/~dement/howto.Html. It has also been my experience that Lunesta just doesn't work as well for for many people as Ambien or sonata (zaleplon). If you have been using good sleep hygiene and Ambien was causing some kind of problem, ask your dr. About sonata (zaleplon).
