A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gynecomastia: True gynecomastia is experienced by over 1/2 males during puberty and involves hormonal stimulation of true spongy breast tissue. It generally subsides over a year.Fat accumulation can produce a breast like appearance in males that is not hormonal and should deminish with a reduction in the persons weight excess. In some, surgical removal with liposuction can help.
