Contains myristicin: Carrot seed oil contains myristicin which is also contained in nutmeg and can cause psychosis. It is thought, however, that the small amounts of myristicin absorbed is unlikely to cause the delirium, disorientation, and hallucinations that can be caused by ingesting larger quantities. However, there is a caveat in that this has never actually been tested. So, if you use this, be aware.
