My doc askd me to take bbt in order to find my cycle is ovulatory or not.temp went to 98.2 at cd15.today at cd28 temp is 97.8.does room temp affec bbt?

Everythgin: Absolutely everything seems to affect bbt, they are notoriously difficult to do. Suggest always take BBT with a BBT thermometer, first thing in the morning, same time of day, before you get out of bed. Good luck.

No: The room temperature does not affect the temperature inside your body. Try using a home ovulation kit. This is much more reliable than body temperatures.
