Please go to OB: I am surprised you continue to ask or argue this point. I would advise that it is time for you to sit in a room with your OB doctor or gynecologist and listen very carefully to how they answer your question. Periods represent no pregnancy and are a way for the uterus to clean out during the monthly cycles. Bleeding during pregnancy is rare, not a period, and not cyclical. Bleeding is trouble.

Not normal.: Any bleeding during pregnancy needs to be evaluated promptly by your doctor. About 50% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy making it very common but not normal. Most are fine but sometimes bleeding can indicate a tubal pregnancy or miscarriage. Some may have bleeding but by definition it's not possible to have a period while pregnant.
