It may be normal: There is nothing to worry, as long as there is no change in color, odor, consistency and large amount.If it has these features, it may be due to an infection and it needs to be evaluated by your gynecologist.But otherwise if it is clear, odorless and as you say like ovulation type it may be normal.

BCP: This may be due to the Progesterone effects on the endometrial lining before your period starts. The drop in Progesterone is what initiates the bleeding.
