May need physician: Severe allergy-like symptoms, especially with pain may need attention from your provider as other things can cause eye pain such as iritis, foreign bodies and infections. Typical allergy symptoms are not usually so painful, but more annoying.

Otc med: Zaditor (ketotifen) are best eye allergy drops without prescription. If it doesnt help, likely another issue that needs to be checked.
