Possibly genetic: The most common conditions that cause dark circles around the eyes are genetic inheritance, sinutsitis, marijuana abuse (darkness crosses the zygmoatic arch) and depression. Other than that, any significant physical illness can cause it as well.Please get checked out by your family doctor to find out the most common causes in india and to rule out depression and sinusitis.
