Out pt surgery: Most of doctors offices are not equipped , but in a ambulatory setting could be done as out patient surgery , most of insurances cover it , low risk procedure speak to your doctor , benefits ; risks.

Yes: Essure is a great sterilization method. It takes about 20 minutes. You meet w/ dr. Obtain history, etc. Most drs will give you rx for meds to take before procedure to decrease spasm of tube, bleeding and pain. Side effects minimal, little cramping. Recovery 1 day. Cost depend on your insurance carrier. Pros are 1) highest efficacy, 2) super low risk. Con) sometimes difficult to place essure.
