A few reasons: This could be due to simple hormonal issues, estrogen and progesterone. It's possible that there's still some uterine lining that needs to be shed, and that's why your body's cramping. Also possible is you have a fibroid or polyp that's causing this cramping. If continues you may want to chart your symptoms and see a gynecologist for consultation.
