why do some of my daughter's breast buds appear swollen?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Kathryn Wagner

Buds: Some? There should be only two, one behind each nipple area and the swollen look is normal for the early development phase. You can google tanner stages and see images typical of the stages so you know what to expect.

Maybe.: Swollen breast is a sign of hormonal changes going on in your body. Maybe before period or if you are pregnant.
