HYpoglycemia: In newborn hypoglycemia seen in large for gestational age (lga) babies, mother had gestational or uncontrolled diabetes; baby small for gestational age (sga), premature, postmature, delay in starting / poor feeding, vomiting, difficult labor, congenital anomalies e.g. Heart disease, metabolic diseases, etc. Simple one touch sugar test tells glucose level. If persistent, needs further evaluation.
