Dry needling is one : Of many acupuncture techniques that can be used to break down ashi (trigger) points. It helps to reduce inflammation ; to improve circulation. I tend to use a mix of techniques. I take care of some badly injured combat veterans who have poly trauma. Acute injuries may only need one or two treatments. Chronic problems may require 12 or more sessions with follow on maintenance.
