Yes: What you describe sounds like normal healing for a drained abscess. Your triple antibiotic treatment was over kill. Clindamycin alone or Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and Keflex together would have been sufficient.

It is possible: Following and incision and drainage a scab may form if the wound drys over.
