Could be a colic: The symptom you describe sounds like colic. Colic may be caused by many, unknown factors. Do you breastfeed the baby, and eat foods that cause a lot of gas? If that is the case, you may eat low gas forming and low allergenic diet. Many studies found no universally effective remedies, but simethicone, probiotics, casein hydrolysate formula, music, maternal low allergen diet have worked in some.
