A member asked:

What does a spider bite look like on a child?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varied: Spider bites can be quite varied in their appearance from anything a innocuous as a small red bump to a large bruised appearing lesion with necrotic (dead) tissue in the middle that oozes profusely. Certain areas of the country have particular spiders with characteristic bite appearances (brown recluse spider in northwest can give 2nd example mentioned above). See doc if concerned.
