A member asked:

What could cause the left lower leg to swell?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A lot of things: Unilateral swelling could have many differential diagnoses. Some are a blood clot, injury, a stress fracture, infection, venous insufficiency, tumors and possibly even gout. The history and physical exams are critical to determine the cause.
