What does epigastric pain feel like?

Location: Epigastrium refers to an anatomic area - the epigastric region of the abdominal region that is the upper part and central in location, above the umbilical (belly button) region and between the two edges of the rib cage. The type of pain there can be varied, e.g. Constant, cramps, sharp, radiating, burning, dull, etc. The nature of the disease will present with varying descriptions.
