A member asked:

Westeren blot after 7month negtive for hiv test this is accurate now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV: Yes, a negative HIV antibody test with negative western blot confirmation at 7 mos after exposure is almost certainly confirmation of the absence of infection. There are, however, rare cases reported in which patients are said to have become positive beyond that time. These are very very rare.
