A member asked:

Is napeoxen as good as hydrocosone for pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

pain medicine: Depends upon the cause of the pain. Pain which is due to inflammation will typically respond better to nsaids of which Naproxen is one. Hydrocodone is much better at nerve pain than nsaids. It's not really a fair comparison because it really depends upon the type and cause of pain as to which is better.
