Possibly meds: Some medications can cause black tongue, such as pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate). However, it could also be a bacteria in your mouth. See an ENT or dentist to have it checked if you are not currently taking medications that could have caused it.

Black teeth/tongue?: Teeth and gums can stain more than normally with poor oral hygiene, certain medications, certain mouth rinses, use of antibiotics, dehydration, etc. See you own dentist for an evaluation and recommendations.

Tongue: The tongue is exquisitely sensitive and this ability to make things feel bigger evolved as a defense mechanism so you will get out the offending item.

Orthodontist: This is called tongue thrusting. Talk to an orthodontist. They may have an appliance that may help you stop. Many orthodontists have free consults. Talk to them about options.

??????????: I never heard of that medication, nor could i find any information about it online. What don't you ask the doctor? Who prescribed? It for you. If it wasn't prescribed for you, you are on your own. Perhaps ask a physician or dentist in your country or stop taking it!

See your dentist: I recommend that you see your dentist for a complete examination. Bad breath ( halitosis) may have many different causes, one being gum (periodontal) disease.
