Gastric cancer is: Not that common, and may be related to a bacteria called helicobacter pylorii, which is associated with both stomach cancers and lymphomas. It once was very common, before refrigeration and frozen foods, it is more common in japan where screening endoscopy is done, and may be seeing a slight resurgence. It is less comon than colon, rectal and esophageal cancer.
